Account Closure Charges

1. Charges for Closure of Saving/Pre-mature RD Accounts:

• If closed within 14 days of opening of account – Free
• If closed after 14 days but within 12 months from the date of opening:

• Rs.500/

• If closed after 12 months –

• NIL

2. Charges for Closure of Current Accounts:

• If closed within 14 days of opening of account – Free
• If closed after 14 days but within 12 months from the date of opening:

• Rs.750/-

• If closed after 12 months –

• Rs.500/-

3. Any type of account closed due to death of account holder – Free

4. (D) No account closure charges to be levied on BSBD account such as SBKID, SBFIN, SBFIB, SBBAS, SBSRL and Govt. PFMS (SNA/CNA) account SBSNA, SBIA, SBCNA, SBCIA, CAHOL and any other specific scheme for which charges are waive separately– FREE

5. (D) No account closure charges to be levied on BSBD account such as SBKID, SBFIN, SBFIB, SBBAS, SBSRL and Govt. PFMS (SNA/CNA) account SBSNA, SBIA, SBCNA, SBCIA, CAHOL and any other specific scheme for which charges are waive separately– FREE
