    Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana is a government scheme launched on 9th May 2015 by GOI.

    PMSBY is an life Accidental insurance scheme offering coverage for death due to accidental cases except suicide.

    Eligibility: Age group of 18 to 70 years with a bank account at a premium of ₹ 20 per annum.

    Premium to Pay: The premium of ₹ 20 per annum is to be deducted from the account holder's bank account at the time of enrollment which is renewable in the month of May every year.

    Benefits to Customers/Public:

    The risk coverage under the scheme is ₹ 2 lakh for accidental death or full disability and ₹1 lakh for partial disability.
