Doorstep Banking Service

Door Step Banking (DSB) Services through Universal Touch Points (UTP)

1. Introduction:

Door Step Banking (DSB) Services through Universal Touch Points (UTP) was officially launched on 09/09/2020 by Honourable Finance Minister- Smt. Nirmala Sitaraman under the common logo of PSB ALLIANCE for all public sector banks in India.

Door Step Banking is a service through which customers can avail many of the banking transaction services through the DSB Agents from their Door Steps at nominal charges.

Door Step Banking is one of the key action points of the roadmap for banking reforms under the EASE (Enhanced Access & Service Excellence) Reforms brought out by the Department of Financial Services.

2. Type of Services to be covered Under DSB:

Account holders can book the desired service out of below mentioned services

A. Non-Financial Services:

  • Pick Up of Negotiable Instruments (Cheque/Draft/Pay Order etc)
  • Pick Up of New Cheque Book requisition slip
  • Pick Up of 15G/15H forms.
  • Pick Up of IT/GST Challan.
  • Pick Up of Standing Instructions request.
  • Delivery of Account Statement
  • Delivery of Non-personalized Cheque Book, Draft, Pay Order
  • Delivery of Term Deposit Receipt, Acknowledgement etc
  • Delivery of TDS/Form 16 Certificate issuance
  • Delivery of Pre paid instrument/Gift Card

B. Financial Services

  • Cash Withdrawl (AEPS and Debit Card based)
  • Cash Deposit (Coming Soon)

C. Digital Life Certificate Submission

3. Service Area and Timing:

  • Service area of catering of every Banking Agent will be 5-10 km depending on the accessibility of the area.
  • All requests generated up to 3:00 PM on any working day should be completed within 3 hours of request generation and request generated after that or on holiday should be served on priority basis and shall be completed by 1:00 pm next working day.

4. Service charges to be collected from the Customers:

The IBA Sub-Committee have decided a uniform service charge of Rs.75/- plus GST to be collected from the customers for each service request.

5. Customer Access:

Vendor has their own Mobile App, Customer Web Portal and Branch Web Portal.

Customer can lodge and track DSB service requests/grievances through Web Portal and Mobile App. Link for web portal and mobile application:

6. Service Delivery at Customer Address:

Service delivery and/or pickup at customer address shall be done by the DSB Agents engaged by the service providers M/s Atyati Technology and M/s Integra Micro system. Agent shall pick the instrument from Branch/ Customer and Deliver to Customer/ Branch as per the type of service.
